Life So Far - Nov 21, 2011
Well it’s almost been a year living in New Orleans and a year being with @RemyLeBeauEP. So much has happen since I came to Nola almost a year ago. Running away from my “dipshit” adoptive parents, staying with the aunt in Baton Rogue, meeting Remy under car trouble, and so much more. Reminiscing about how Remy and I met just makes me laugh even today. How cocky he was! And still is. How kind of him to let me stay with him when I couldn’t get back to my aunt’s. How he was there for me when I was attacked in the alley. He was the one that saved me from the Fae guy that was trying to kill me. We both learn about each other’s powers, not freaked out by one another.
We had quickly learn that he was a demigod by his mother’s persistence. His mother, Antoinette LeBeau (@Antoinette_EP) told him all about who he was and who his father is. Even Remy’s grandfather, Hermes (@MessengerHermes) told him face to face. He is a son of Dolos (@GodofTrickery), a Greek God of trickery and Guile. He is also a master of craftiness and treachery. No wonder Remy is the way he is. The complete charmer package. He most certainly got me to fall for him. And well, he wasn’t the only one that’s a charmer. Boy! Just remembering when we both said “I Love You” to each other brings some tears to my eyes. It was very sweet and still gives me chills. It could have been the perfect moment of saying it to each other. After making love.
Our relationship took off from there. Even dealing with a dancer wanting Remy for herself. And we were there for each other for our powers. His growing and his eyes turning red. WHICH IS SO DAMN SEXY! His powers are Manipulation of any object of any kind, making it a weapon or whatever he needs. His fingers get a purple glow, especially around his fingertips. They “spark” in a purplish glow. His eyes turn to a devilish red when this happens. He’s more quicker and faster.
My powers slowly grew, getting a hold/control of a few. Before meeting Remy, i powers were out of control. Especially my “shake the earth” one. A surge of energy would build within and would seep out, and the ground would shake. Other than that were foggy images that i’d dream about, even day dream about. Some gave me headaches & migraines, but one of them was of Remy. That one I didn’t mind at all. My other powers came later. A event in my life that i would like to forget but truly can’t.
I was kidnapped by a vengeful Fae to a very cold place. The worst part became the most shocking. This fae started to rape me while i was chained to a bed, it overly shocking me, causing a new power in me to throw him off me & throw a couple of walls. At the time, all i was thinking was to have him off me. And how it happen worked. I was pleased with that. But i felt i was alone there in the strange house. Cold, crying and weak. The next morning was when i was able to free myself. My back had been hurting to extreme for hours before he came back. And he was pissed. He grabbed me by the neck, squeezing and almost choking me before a rescue showed up.
My mother, birth mother for that fact, Remy and another Fae showed up. Remy & the other fae dealt with the one that hurt me. While my mother, Belle Burdeaux (@FaeryBelle) dealt with healing me. I was in a great deal of pain, and all resorting to my back & shoulders. Most of it was too much of a blur. Remy told me that he had killed the fae that almost raped & tortured me. We all arrived back home, to Remy’s loft above his club @GambitsBarEP. What happen to me next was something that I still remember till this day. My “angel” wings were coming out. And i advise you that IT was the most painful thing i’ve EVER experience in my life. To feel your skin tear open, the wings slowly grow out, brushing along the torn skin…. Like I said. It was Excruciating.
After that I learned who I really was. Apparently I was half angel, part fae and part human. My mother being half Fae & half human. while my biological father being full angel. And a Powerful one. From what my mother had told me. I was also introduced to the Fae that helped saved me. His name is Michael Lockwood (@ShadowFaePrince). And he was the one that saved my mother from the Fae Realms. I am doubly indebted to him for that.
As life went on, Remy & I became closer. I got to know my mother. And she got to live her life the way she wants, with the man she loves. Life was good. Till i got to meet my father. My biological father, HaSatan (@AngelHaSatan). Learning he was a father was a complete shock to him but he was understanding of my mother’s situation at the time. He gave me a deep emerald green ring, to use whenever i want to talk to him. It was a communication device to his job in the Underworld. I was thankful for that. To be able to talk to my father over such a far distance.
Having that happen and trying to bring my wings in was all overwhelming. Life just had it’s up and downs since then. Especially since recently. Remy telling me that he had just learn & met his half sister. That blew my mind. Remy having a sibling. I was completely happy for him. That he has a family member that isn’t immortal or a greek god. Having this half sister, who ever she is, will be good for Remy. And I can’t wait to meet her too.
Now rounding that up. Over a month and a half will be Remy’s & Mine anniversary of when we first met. What a year it has been. From disasters to amazement. From horrid life moments to self discovery. Mine & Remy’s life together has made it through any impossible event that came into our lives. Hopefully we can continue on like this & take the next step, maybe?
Name’s Conner Declan Lanter. I’m 26 years old & older brother to Liam Lanter. I’ve been on my own, making my way with no help for years since our parents died.. hell I was on my own before that to be honest. I like it like that.. no strings & no shit to tie me down or aggravate me. I have a seriously hot temper & will kick anyone’s ass that dares to piss me off. I do NOT deal with pushy, egotistical & controlling lame asses.. those I’d kill without a second thought or any remorse.
I’ve been called an asshole for my views but hell it’s a free damn world & we can all think, feel & act how we want.. right?! So then what’s the big deal with having a set & not afraid to say what you think? In my mind.. not a damn thing.
